Position Summary

As a Business Operations Analyst, you will drive research, analysis and strategy implementation related to the performance of business operations.  You will be directly accountable to ensure our customers have the best possible acquisition, service, and retention experience. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team in collaborative work across product, marketing, legal, UX, operations and credit risk to successfully implement business initiatives. Projects can range from short-term immediate impact projects, like automating a business process, to long-term strategic initiatives, such as new feature launches.

Job Responsibility

  • Uphold standards of the business operations role, including approach frameworks and scoping, problem-solving, building resiliency, communications and escalations, and general project management.
  • Work cross-functionally to create, own, and drive a business roadmap.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables from your team, focusing on cross-functional new projects, process improvements, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Help team address and anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize and execute projects, balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensure quality, and drive bottom-line results.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional leaders within the company.
  • Be willing to run ad hoc projects that require comfort with numbers to make decisions.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, economics, marketing, or a relevant field preferred.

Experience Required

  • Skilled in people management and coaching.
  • Experience in operations, process improvement, consulting, or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical thinking demonstrated through excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in negotiating, problem-solving, influencing, and leading others, and executing and implementing projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to communicate in person, by phone, and through email; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, challenging environment.
  • Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.
  • Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information.
  • Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills.
  • The ability to use standard collaborations tools such as Rally, MS Teams, Zoom is required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships. MS Office – intermediate user (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Any prior experience with Agile PPM tools like Agile Central (Rally), Rally, SharePoint is highly desired. Familiarity and any associated certifications using the SAFe 2.5/4.0 methodology is highly attractive.
