Position Summary
As a Business Operations Intern, you will play an active, hands-on role in the development and implementation of a new business operations system. Working closely with cross-functional teams across product, technology, operations, legal, and UX, you will support the full project lifecycle — from discovery and requirements gathering through testing, rollout, and post-launch evaluation.
This is a project-driven internship designed to give you real-world experience in how enterprise systems are built, launched, and optimized in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You won't just be observing — you'll be a contributing member of the project team from day one.
Job Responsibility
Discovery & Planning
- Assist in documenting current-state business processes to identify gaps and opportunities the new system will address.
- Support requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across operations, product, and technology teams.
- Help maintain project documentation including timelines, meeting notes, and status trackers.
Development & Design Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
- Assist in reviewing system design documentation and providing feedback from an operations perspective.
- Support the creation of user stories, process flows, and workflow diagrams to guide development.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) by executing test cases and documenting results.
- Help identify, log, and track system defects or gaps against business requirements.
- Assist in validating that the system meets operational and customer experience standards.
Implementation & Rollout
- Support the development of training materials, user guides, and rollout communications.
- Assist in coordinating go-live activities and monitoring early adoption metrics.
- Help gather post-launch feedback and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
General Project Support
- Prepare presentations and project status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting to support data-driven project decisions.
- Uphold standards of professionalism, communication, and accountability throughout the project.

- Understand, adhere to, and enforce all corporate policies

Job Responsibilities Cont.
Education Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate coursework preferred.
Experience Required
- Prior experience or coursework in project management, systems analysis, or business process improvement is a plus - but not required.
- Exposure to software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, or system implementation projects is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and present findings clearly.
Knowledge Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - particularly Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, or Rally is a plus.
- Ability to think analytically and translate observations into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of assigned project tasks.
