Position Summary

The Digital Product Owner is a key strategic role responsible for guiding the vision, development, and success of digital products. This position serves as the bridge between business objectives and technical implementation. You will work with stakeholders to develop business cases, define and prioritize features, assess tradeoffs, and ensure delivery of high-quality digital solutions that meet customer needs and drive business value.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the product roadmap, aligning it with overall business strategy and customer needs.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and customers.
  • Create and maintain a product backlog with well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile environment to deliver product increments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for digital products and monitor performance.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product updates across the organization.
  • Balance technical constraints and business needs to make informed product decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.

Job Responsibilities Cont.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Business, Engineering, STEM, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience; or equivalent work experience.

Experience Required

  • Experience driving a full lifecycle product feature or launch.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

Knowledge Required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time; standing occasionally; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.; driving and having access during the workday to an insured and reliable transportation; typing; data entry; grasping; transferring items between hands and/or to another person or receptacle; use of office equipment to include computers; ability to travel to, be physically present at, and complete the physical requirements of the position at any assigned location.
