Position Summary

The HR Specialist executes workforce transactions across the employee and contingent worker lifecycle, including loading and maintaining records within SuccessFactors, ensuring data accuracy, creating and managing positions, and maintaining organizational structures aligned with staffing plans, headcount targets, and vacancy reporting.

We are looking for a detail oriented, collaborative professional who takes pride in accuracy, communicates effectively at all levels, and partners with hiring managers, HR business partners, and leadership to support evolving workforce needs.

Job Responsibility

Employee Lifecycle & Transactions

  • Load new hire and contingent worker records into SuccessFactors, verifying employment data accuracy, assignment details, and end dates.
  • Process status changes including promotions, demotions, transfers, contract extensions, and pay adjustments in alignment with established SLAs.
  • Manage and maintain positions in SuccessFactors, including updates to job titles, reporting structures, department assignments, cost centers, and realignments.
  • Execute mass workforce movements including bulk promotions, transfers, and restructures.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Maintain organizational charts, position management data, and contingent worker records in SuccessFactors.
  • Conduct regular audits of workforce data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Pull, validate, and report on position, forecast, and job level data, and coordinate with leaders to deactivate inactive or redundant positions.
  • Track position budgets and vacancies to ensure staffing plans reflect the current headcount targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Leadership, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure workforce changes are integrated seamlessly across systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to document competencies and skills for new or evolving roles.

Training & Support

  • Train and support managers and HR partners on transactional processes and HRIS self-service tools.
  • Assist in maintaining job architecture data, ensuring consistency in job titles, descriptions, and classifications aligned with compensation and performance frameworks.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute to HR process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects.
  • Adhere to governance rules for position management and ensure all workforce transactions comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, internal policies, and financial controls.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience Required

2+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on transactional HR data management. Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS systems (SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar); experience with SAP SuccessFactors is strongly preferred.  

Knowledge Required

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly across all levels of the organization. They must be adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. A strong understanding of the policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry is essential. The candidate should have a team oriented attitude, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other HR stakeholders.

Candidates should have knowledge of, or the ability to quickly master, computer programs and resources relevant to the HR function. The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues in position management and reporting structures. A proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) is required.
