Position Summary
We are looking for an innovative and self-motivated Lead AI Software Engineer II to spearhead our new AI Engineering team. This role will lead the development of our AI infrastructure and capabilities built on AWS Bedrock, expanding our existing SecureGPT platform. The ideal candidate will drive the creation of agentic workflow capabilities, integrate external AI services via Model Context Protocol, and build AI workflow and orchestration systems to bring intelligence to all our products. This position requires a visionary leader with a can-do spirit who can transform complex AI concepts into practical, scalable solutions while collaborating closely with Data Science teams to leverage data-driven insights. The role includes ownership of test automation strategy and implementation for all AI systems.
Job Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of AI software engineers focused on building AI infrastructure and capabilities
- Architect and implement agentic workflow capabilities to integrate external AI services via Model Context Protocol
- Design and develop AI workflow and orchestration systems to enhance our product offerings
- Expand and improve our existing SecureGPT platform built on AWS Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and Knowledgebases
- Own and drive the test automation strategy for all AI systems, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and performance
- Design and implement comprehensive test frameworks for evaluating AI model performance and behavior
- Create tooling and productivity improvements leveraging AI capabilities across the company
- Act as Scrum Master for AI engineering teams
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to integrate ML models and data-driven insights into AI solutions

- Partner with product management, TPMs, Data, and Operations teams to align AI initiatives with business goals
- Research emerging AI technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Develop technical roadmaps for AI integration across company products
- Establish best practices for AI development, testing, and deployment
- Provide technical mentorship to team members on AI technologies and implementation strategies
- Bridge the gap between AI engineering and data science to create cohesive, intelligent systems
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience Required
- 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML technologies
- Demonstrated experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI platforms
- Proven experience building and deploying AI solutions on AWS, particularly with AWS Bedrock
- Strong background in serverless architectures (Lambda, S3) and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with AI orchestration, workflow management, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol and agentic AI systems
- Experience leading technical teams and driving innovation
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Proven track record as a self-starter and innovator who can drive projects from concept to completion
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and vector databases
- Expertise in test automation frameworks and methodologies for AI systems
- Experience designing and implementing evaluation metrics for AI model performance
- Familiarity with AI ethics, security, and governance frameworks
- Experience working with Data Science teams and implementing ML models in production environments
- Understanding of data science methodologies, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms
