Position Summary
Responsible for the direction and accountability of an assigned Division in cooperation with the Associate Director of Operations / Director of Operations. This includes, but is not limited to, coaching and developing branch management teams, managing performance and expenses, assisting in selecting new team members, and supporting business strategies to achieve the company's operational, financial, and growth goals through increased sales performance, compliance, and exceptional customer experience.
Job Responsibility
Manage:
- Collaborate with the ADO / DO, Branch Sales Managers, and Business Development Managers to allocate team resources focused on operational excellence, customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure divisional campaigns remain updated, relevant, and aligned with business needs.
- Provide guidance and planning assistance to assigned Branch Sales Managers to ensure branch-level coaching and follow-up are appropriately scheduled and executed.
- Monitor performance and initiate action to strengthen results across assigned branches.
- Manage financial goals through planning, goal setting, and P&L oversight; use analytics and business intelligence tools to assess ways to improve financial position and profit margin.
- Prepare findings reports for review with divisional leadership and aggregate findings for the ADO / DO.
- Identify, report, and escalate gaps in operational performance, compliance, and sales competency within the scope of company growth expectations.
- Translate divisional goals into functional, branch-level, and individual team goals.
- Work with the ADO / DO to determine appropriate branch locations; actively participate in analysis for future locations, relocation options, and closures.
Support:
- Contribute to new products and digital initiatives by assisting with implementation, including training, monitoring, testing, and tracking related metrics.
- Support omni-channel operations by ensuring alignment between in-store and digital customer experiences, including online lending and Purpose Money products.

- Develop working relationships with branch team members and divisional leaders to support alignment with the company's mission and Nine Core Principles.
- Develop working relationships with corporate personnel, including but not limited to, Marketing, Business Development, Reporting, Central Support, Legal & Compliance, Real Estate, and other personnel as required.
- Maintain consistent and open communication with the ADO / DO and divisional leadership as a guiding resource and business partner.
- Routinely visit branches to assess quality of operations, customer experience, and team performance.
- Champion the adoption of digital tools, AI-assisted workflows, and operational platforms (e.g., teampurpose.io) to drive efficiency and consistency across assigned branches.
Influence:
- Provide feedback to divisional leadership on new operational initiatives, marketing campaigns, and business development strategies.
- Update divisional leadership at monthly/quarterly meetings on branch performance, trends, and areas of opportunity.
- Partner with divisional leadership to identify, track, and resolve operational and compliance areas of opportunity.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the company's culture, brand image, and customer experience standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and inclusion; identify and nurture emerging leaders within assigned branches.
- Collaborate with other Division Directors and the ADO / DO to build a healthy, strong, future-facing Division.
Education Required
College degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Required
Demonstrated knowledge of business operations in a multi-site environment, with a minimum of 3–5 years of related leadership experience, including managing multiple locations.
Knowledge Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to interact and communicate in person, by phone, video conferencing, and through email. Adaptability and flexibility to a changing environment; comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information. Strong problem-solving, reasoning, analytical, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry, business, and products. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Significant operational experience in a multi-site setting with exemplary results in solving customer and operational issues, as well as successful P&L management. Ability to coach and develop others, including seasoned leaders. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and enterprise operational platforms. Comfort with AI-assisted productivity tools and digital collaboration platforms.
Physical Requirements
Sitting for long periods; standing occasionally; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of fewer than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.; typing; data entry; grasping; transferring items between hands and to another person or receptacle; use of office equipment to include computers; ability to travel to, be physically present at, and complete the physical requirements of the position at any assigned location. Ability to travel for long periods in different modes of transportation.
